Here are the arrangements for next week at Ysgol Gymraeg Cwmbrân:

** Numeracy across the curriculum week. **

During the week, the pupils will be participating in a number of different numeracy tasks, based on our theme 'Journey to the Euros.'

Monday:

The pupils can wear their P.E. kits / football shirts to school today.
They will be doing work based on one of the countries of the Euros 2016.

Year 4 Urdd cricket competition:
(Some year 4 pupils will be representing the school in a cricket competition today. They will need a packed lunch, plenty of water and sun tan lotion please. They will also need a sun hat as they will be out all day. The pupils will be back before the end of the day.)

Fire Brigade to see year 1 children.

No Drama Club after school.

Tuesday:

Year 1 and 2 trip to Noah's Ark.
The pupils will need to wear their school uniform to school. They will also need a packed lunch, plenty of water, a sun hat and sun tan lotion. They will be back before the end of the school day.

No choir practice after school.

Cooking club for Miss Hughes’ class until 4:30. (£1)

Practice for the 'Llew Frenin' until 4:30. (Main actors - those who need to stay have received a letter.)

Wednesday:

Welsh lessons for parents.
(9-11)

Halfords Bike workshop for those having cycling proficiency training.
1:30-2:30.

Urdd Club for year 5 and 6 pupils until 4:30.

Running club for year 5 and 6 pupils during lunch break. (The pupils will need a packed lunch and their kits.)

Meeting for new reception class parents. School hall at 6pm.

Thursday:

Wales V England in the Euros 2016

Cycling Proficiency training will start for year 6 pupils tonight.
(3:30-4:30)

Swimming lesson today for Miss Griffiths’ class.

Fitness club for years 4, 5 and 6 until 4:30.

NON-UNIFORM DAY/ITEMS FOR THE SUMMER FAYRE

Instead of asking for a monetary contribution, we kindly ask that you support the P.T.A. in their preparation for the upcoming Summer Fayre. Listed below are the items they would like each year group to contribute. Please do not go to great expense.

Nursery and Reception - Colouring books/ pencils

Year 1 and 2 - Sweets/ boxes of chocolate

Year 3 and 4 - Pocket money Toys

Year 5 and 6 - Gardening items (plants or seeds) or toiletries.

We are extremely grateful to the P.T.A. for all their hard work and continued support and we know they have a busy time ahead. If you think that you can help in anyway please contact them directly.

Violin lesson for Mrs Dalgleish’s class.

Year 6 hockey lesson.

The PTA will be selling ice cream on the yard at the end of the day. (50p)
