Cycle Proficiency Training 2016:

Cycle Proficiency Training 2016:

18th May 2016

We have decided to offer a cycling proficiency course for pupils in year 6 who choose to take part.

The training will take place after school on a Thursday from 3:30 until 4:30. At the end of the course, a representative from Capita Symonds will be coming to the school to test the pupils.

On the letter (See 'School Letters') is a list of rules and regulations that we ask the pupils, and you as parents, to follow to ensure that the training days are successful.

On Thursdays, we ask you kindly to bring the bikes to school in the morning and to lock them in the biking bay we have on the junior yard. Unfortunately, we can’t take any responsibility for loss or damage to any bike on the school grounds. The bikes must have working brakes on them for the pupils to take part.

The pupils must bring a helmet with them to take part in the lessons. If you would like your child to take part in the training, please read the rules and sign at the bottom of the letter, giving permission for your child to take part. We will need to receive these by Friday, May 27th please. The first session will be Thursday, June 16th.

For more information, please contact Miss Passmore.

Diolch / Thank you.
