Urdd National Eisteddfod
Ysgol Gymraeg Cwmbrân - 21st July 2007
The pupils competed in nine competitions in the Urdd National Eisteddfod in Carmarthen and managed to win 1st prize in one competition!
A bus travelled to the Eisteddfod on two consecutive days and the behaviour of the pupils was impeccable on both days.
We were very successful in the Under 12 Folk Dancing competition and Ysgol Gymraeg Cwmbrân won the 1st prize. This was a fantastic achievement for the pupils and for the school. Many thanks to the whole staff for their hard work during the past few months especially Miss Nerys Griffiths for all the additional after school practices.
