A visit to the local food bank:
7th October 2026
Today, our School Council leaders visited the food bank in the Salvation Army church.
The pupils saw first hand what was needed to run the food bank. They had the chance to make up some food packs, and they've made a list of the items that the food bank is in need of.
Our Harvest assembly will be on Wednesday, October 21st and we will be making a collection for the food bank on this day.
The items they're in need of the most are:
Food:
UHT milk
fruit juices
pasta sauces
tinned tomatoes
rice pudding
tinned potatoes
tinned meats
Toiletries:
deodorant
shampoo
conditioner
shower gel
tooth paste
tooth brush
We would appreciate any donation on the day.
