Naming a street in the local area:

Well done to one of our pupils for winning a compeition to name a street in Cwmbrân.
Melin Homes are developing a housing estate in the local area and, a few weeks ago, they contacted the school to ask if the pupils could think of a suitable Welsh name for the street. Pupils from year 1 to year 6 took part in the compeition and one pupil in year 2 was lucky enough to win. The street will be called 'Cwrt y Gamlas' which translates to 'Court of the Canal'.
The pupils also won a large sum of vouchers from the company.
