Year 6 Cycling Proficiency Course, 2017:

19th June 2017

Year 6 pupils have received a letter about the cycling course, tonight.

We’ve decided to offer a cycling proficiency course for pupils in year 6 who choose to take part. The training will take place on three afternoons during school time. At the end of the course, a representative from Capita Symonds will be coming to the school to test the pupils.

On the days below, we ask you kindly to bring the bikes to school in the morning and to lock them in the biking bay we have on the junior yard. Unfortunately, we can’t take any responsibility for loss or damage to any bike on the school grounds. The bikes must have working brakes on them for the pupils to take part.

The pupils must bring a helmet with them to take part in the lessons. If you would like your child to take part in the training, please read the rules and sign at the bottom, giving permission for your child to take part. We will need to receive these back by Friday please.

The cycling sessions:

Wednesday, July 12th.
Thursday, July 13th.
Wednesday, July 19th.
Thursday, July 20th. (The test)
