Here are the arrangements for the week after half term at Ysgol Gymraeg Cwmbrân:
Language pattern of the week:
The use of verbs - 'Cerddais i ......' instead of 'Roeddwn i wedi cerdded ....'
Band of the week:
Band of the week is Eden.
We will be listening to 'Paid a bod ofn' and 'Rho i mi wen'.
The Daily Mile will start for year 3 - 6 pupils this week.
*Please could all pupils bring their trainers to school every day?*
Monday:
Teacher Training Day.
(No school for pupils.)
Tuesday:
School will begin for pupils today.
Fruit money for the remainder of the year is due today please. (£6.80)
Barti Ddu Show for year 1 and 2 pupils today.
No choir practice - rehearsals for Shakespeare will take over from choir practice for the rest of the year.
Those taking part in the production have received a letter.
(3:30 - 4:30.)
Cooking lesson for year 3 pupils from 3:30 - 4:30.
Wednesday:
Mindfulness Sessions for year 5 and 6 pupils.
Welsh lessons for parents / guardians in the school library. 09:30-11:30.
Urdd Club for pupils in years 5 and 6 from 3:30 until 4:30.
Book Quiz (Cwis Lyfrau) practice for those competing. (3:30 - 4:30)
Thursday:
Swimming lesson for Miss Griffiths' class.
Netball club for pupils in years 4, 5 and 6. (3:30 - 4:30.)
Fitness club for pupils in years 4, 5 and 6. (3:30 - 4:30)
The pupils will be taking part in different activities over the next few weeks e.g. football, tennis, hockey, rounders etc.
Friday:
** Non-Uniform Day **
Instead of asking for a monetary contribution, we kindly ask that you support the School in our preparation for the upcoming Summer Fayre. Listed below are the items they would like each year group to contribute. Please do not go to great expense.
Nursery and Reception - Colouring books/ pencils
Year 1 and 2 - Sweets/ boxes of chocolate
Year 3 and 4 – Tins/Non-perishable foods/Biscuits (Sweet and Savoury)/Drinks
Year 5 and 6 – Reading books
* If you have any 20p pieces / tubes at home, please bring them in by today. *
Violin lesson for Mrs Dalgleish's class. (09:10 - 10)
Clwb Hwb during lunch time for KS2 pupils.
Hockey lesson for year 6 pupils.
