This Week's Arrangements:

Here are the arrangements for next week at Ysgol Gymraeg Cwmbrân:
** We will be celebrating Fairtrade Fortnight in school for the next two weeks. **
Each class will be participating in a sponsored activity during the week to raise money for the NSPCC.
Language pattern of the week:
The difference between 'pan' and 'pryd'.
Band of the week:
Catatonia. We will be listening to 'International Velvet' and 'Gyda Gwen' in class this week.
Monday:
Pontypool Urdd Club for pupils in years 3-6.
This club is run in St. James Lower Hall, Hanbury Road, Pontypool between 4:30 and 6 every Monday night for just £1 a session.
Crucial Crew for year 6 pupils - 12:30 - 3.
The pupils will be eating their lunch before going. Please ensure that the pupils have a rain coat as we will be walking to the TA Centre.
Year 1 and 2 children will be going to Sain Ffagan on a trip today.
The pupils will need a packed lunch and will need to wear their school uniform please.
Please ensure that the pupils have a rain coat.
Tuesday:
Pupil of the week assembly.
(09:10 in the school hall.)
Miss Westphal's class will be going on a trip to Tesco this morning. *This has now be postponed.**
(School uniform please. The pupils will be back in time for lunch.)
Sewing club for year 3 pupils from 3:30 - 4:30.
Choir practice from 3:30 - 4:30.
Wednesday:
Welsh lessons for parents / guardians in the school library. 09:00-11:30.
Urdd Club for year 5 and 6 pupils until 4:30. (£1)
Ymgom practice after school. 3:30 - 4:30.
Mr Bridson's class will be having a football session with Newport County this afternoon.
** Gwynllyw Meeting for year 6 parents / guardians - 6pm at Ysgol Gymraeg Cwmbrân. **
Thursday:
Ffa La La Creative workshops for year 3 and 4 pupils.
Swimming lesson for Miss Griffiths' class.
Torfaen Recycling will be holding a workshop with year 5 pupils at 1:15 today.
Football club for year 4, 5 and 6 pupils from 3:30 - 4:30.
Netball club for year 4, 5 and 6 pupils from 3:30 - 4:30.
Disco Dancing practice after school from 3:30 - 4:30.
Friday:
Violin lesson for Mrs Dagleish's class. (09:10 - 10)
Clwb Hwb during lunch time for KS2 pupils.
Hockey lesson for year 6 pupils.
