Language pattern of the week:

Our language pattern of the week is 'siarad gyda', not 'siarad i'.

Singer / Band of the week:
We will be listening to Casi Wyn in school this week. Some of her songs include 'Tywyll Heno' and 'Lion'.

Monday:

Pontypool Urdd Club for pupils in years 3-6.
This club is run in St. James Lower Hall, Hanbury Road, Pontypool between 4:30 and 6 every Monday night for just £1 a session.

Tuesday:

The choir will be performing in Cardiff today. They will be singing in a concert to welcome the New Zealand Netball Team to Cardiff for the first time in 10 years.
The pupils will need to wear their choir uniform please. They will be leaving the school at 08:30 and they'll be back by lunch time.

Internet Safety Day:
There will be many activities based on internet safety in school today. The day will start with a whole school assembly by the digital leaders and then year 6 will be giving a lesson to each class.

Wednesday:

Welsh lessons for parents / guardians in the school library. 09:00-11:30.

Mr Bridson's class will be having a football session with Newport County this afternoon.

Urdd club for year 3 and 4 pupils until 4:30. (£1)

Creative Writing Club for year 5 and 6 pupils from 3:30 - 4:30.

Thursday:

Swimming lesson for Miss Broad's class.

Football club for year 4, 5 and 6 pupils from 3:30 - 4:30.

Eco-Quiz in the Congress Theatre between 6 and 8.
(Mrs Young will be there to meet the team at 5:45) Pob lwc!

Friday:

Welsh language Music Day / Dydd Miwsig Cymru:
The pupils can come to school dressed in their own clothes today. We will be listening to Welsh songs during the day and many activities will be based on different songs.

Miss Hughes' class concert:
The pupils in Miss Hughes' class have received a weekly violin lesson since September and they will be performing to their parents / guardians today. (09:30 - 10:30 in the school hall.)

Hockey lesson for year 6 pupils.
