The Second World War Day:
12th November 2012
On Friday, 30th of November, Key Stage 2 will be holding a day of activities based on our theme for the term, the Second World War.
It will be an opportunity for the pupils to learn about the Second World War whilst enjoying different activities. We will be learning more about life during the Second World War; about the Blitz, blackouts, air raid shelters, children during the Second World War and we will also be looking at the effect the War had on Wales.
If you know anyone that would be willing to come in to school to talk about the Second World War to a class or two on this day, please contact Miss Passmore at the school. If the pupils have any books, pictures etc at home, they are more than welcome to bring these in on the day.
The pupils can dress up in a Second World War outfit on the day.
