Here are the arrangements for next week at Ysgol Gymraeg Cwmbrân.
Monday:
* Rags to Riches collection. *
Well-being Club for KS2 pupils during lunchtime.
Urdd sports club for year 2 children between 3:30 and 4:30.
(This club is organised by the Urdd.)
* Please come along to the consultation meeting between 4pm and 6pm which will allow you to learn more about developments to Welsh medium education in Torfaen and its implications for Ysgol Gymraeg Cwmbrân This is a drop in session and will not take much of your time. *
Tuesday:
Pupil of the week assembly - 09:10 in the school hall.
Art Club for year 4 pupils during lunch time.
Sewing club for year 3 pupils between 3:30 and 4:30. (50p)
Choir practice between 3:30 and 4:30.
* Hockey tournament after school for some year 5 and 6 pupils. *
(3:30 - 5 in Cwmbrân Stadium)
Wednesday:
#WheelieWednesday: We're encouraging the pupils to come to school on their bikes/scooters today.
Welsh lessons with Learn Welsh Gwent.
9:15 - 11:15 in the school library.
Chess club for year 5 and 6 pupils during lunch time.
(The pupils will need to bring a packed lunch if they wish to attend the club.)
Science Club for year 4 pupils during lunch time.
Urdd club for year 5 and 6 pupils. (3:30 - 4:30)
Netball club for year 3, 4, 5 and 6 pupils. (3:30 - 4:30)
(We've decided to continue offering the club to all years.)
Thursday:
Ffa La La creative workshops for nursery, reception and year 1 children.
Swimming lesson for Mrs Lewis' year 4 pupils.
HWB Club during lunchtime for year 3 and 4 pupils.
Football session for year 5 pupils with Newport AFC this afternoon.
(Mr Price's class and Miss Heledd Williams' year 5 pupils.)
Football Club after school for year 4, 5 and 6 pupils. (3:30 - 4:30)
Friday:
* Mr Bridson's class can wear their own clothes to school today as they won attendance of the month for January. *
Violin lesson for Miss W Williams' year 2 class.
HWB Club during lunchtime for year 5 and 6 pupils.
Some year 5 and 6 pupils will be helping year 5 pupils at Ysgol Coed Eva with their Welsh work this afternoon. (1:15-2:15)
