The local parkrun:

Key Stage 2 pupils received information about the parkrun in the assembly this morning.
As part of our January Challenge, we're trying to encourage more pupils to participate in sports and especially sports in the local area.
Today, Fiona Cross, a volunteer for the local parkrun, came to talk to the pupils about the parkrun and the benefits of taking part in the run. The run is held every week - a 5k run on a Saturday and a 2k junior parkrun on a Sunday. The run is completely free to take part and it is run by volunteers.
