The theme for today's well-being afternoon was people who help us.

We welcomed a number of visitors to school this afternoon who all discussed their work in the local community.

The nursery children received a workshop by Claire from Dogs Trust.
The reception class children received a workshop from Dogs Trust and representatives from Cwmbrân fire station.
Year 1 children were visited by Pets at Home.
Kate, Torfaen's Road Safety Officer, visited year 2 classes.
Year 3 pupils learned about the work of the Salvation Army in the local community.
Year 4 pupils were visited by Anthony from the RNLI.
Year 5 and 6 pupils received a workshop by Sarah, a representative from the Aneurin Bevan Health Board.

Thank you to everyone who came in to teach our pupils about the world of work and the importance of looking after our local community and the people living in it.
