Pontypool junior 2K parkrun:

We're trying to get as many pupils as possible involved in the 2K parkrun that's happening at 9am on Sunday.
Pontypool junior parkrun is a 2k, timed, weekly fun run. It's a great way to encourage fitness in young people aged 4-14 years old. The event is free and organised by volunteers. #
For a time you need to register at parkrun.org.uk and bring your printed barcode with you. Adults are welcome to run with their child but can't go through funnel at the end of the run.
In conjunction with the organizers we have agreed to invite you to join in and take part in order to raise money for the Urdd National Eisteddfod which is being held in Llancaiach Fawr in Nelson Caerphilly between 25 – 30 May. This is Europe’s Largest Youth Festival and is a great day out. To take part on 10 May we ask you to collect sponsorship (see form overleaf) or give a donation of £3 on arrival.
