Year 6 events:

Over the next few weeks, a number of activities have been organized for year 6 pupils.
Crucial Crew: Wednesday, March 7th:
Gwent Police have arranged an afternoon of activities for year 6 pupils in Cwmbrân T.A Centre. The pupils will receive different workshops on topics such as road safety, fire safety, food nutrition and smoking etc. The pupils will visit Cwmbrân T.A Centre between 12:30 and 2:30. A bus has been arranged for the pupils.
Reading Workshop at Cwmbrân Library: Monday, March 12th:
The pupils will be visiting Cwmbrân Library between 1:15 and 3 to take part in a workshop as a part of the World Book Day celebrations. A bus has been arranged for the pupils on this day too.
‘Wings To Fly’ drama: Friday, March 16th:
On Friday morning, the 16th of March, the pupils will be going to the Miner’s Institute in Blackwood so see the drama, ‘Wings To Fly’. The pupils will be learning about the use of drugs through a drama presented by pupils from Ysgol Cwm Rhymni. The pupils will also be travelling here on the bus.
Stwnsh: March 19th / 20th:
The Welsh television programme, Stwnsh, will be in the school filming year 6 pupils on both these days. Letters regarding the filming have already been sent out.
We will also be visiting Ysgol Gyfun Gwynllyw on the 2nd of April and Miss Rhian James and Miss Helen Rogers will be in talking to the pupils this Friday.
