News from the PTA:

3rd October 2011

We are fortunate at our school to have a Parent Teacher Association (PTA) that is and has been an integral part of the school community for a number of years.

In its time the PTA has raised thousands of pounds, which has been spent on equipment and resources to enhance our children’s education experience and the school’s facilities. With your support we will continue to do so.

All families are automatically members of the PTA when their child joins our school. All parents and members of the school community are encouraged to get involved, even if they only have a small amount of time available. The PTA exists to provide closer links between home and school and it is an excellent way to bring staff, parents and friends together socially in support of the school, working towards a common goal.

Last year (2010/2011) the PTA spent £4500 on computer equipment.
We invested £500 in more musical instruments.
We also spent £1200 on wet play boxes for each class.

This year we have already given £800 for the school to purchase sound recording equipment.

Other events that we have organised include, pamper evenings, Car Washes, Discos, supermarket packing, Christmas and Summer Fairs. New ideas welcome!
