Here are some of the arrangements for year 6 pupils for the rest of the term:
Year 5 and 6 trip: (11.7.2012)
We will be going on our end of year trip to Cardiff on Wednesday, the 11th of July. The cost of the trip is £10. The pupils should wear their school uniform on this day. They will need a packed lunch and plenty of water.
Gwynllyw Sports Day: (16.7.2012)
Year 6 pupils will be going to Cwmbrân Stadium on the last Monday of term to take part in Gwynllyw’s Sports Day. They will be in the Stadium from 10 until 2 and they will therefore need a packed lunch on this day. The pupils can come to school dressed in their sports clothes on this day.
Bowling Trip: (17.7.2012)
On Tuesday night, the 17th of July, the school’s PTA is paying for year 6 pupils to go bowling in Bowlplex, Cwmbrân. The PTA is paying for a game of bowling and food for the pupils. We will meet the pupils in Bowlplex at 4:30 and we will be finished by 6 o’clock. The pupils can wear their own clothes.
Leaving Assembly: (18.7.2012)
The leaving assembly will take place on the last day (Wednesday, the 18th of July) at 9:30 am.
I would like to say thank you very much to every one of you for your continuous support this year. I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching year 6 this year and I wish them all the very best of luck next year.
