Year 6 pupils and the Olympic Torch:

On Friday, year 6 pupils were lucky enough to see the Olympic Torch arrive in Pontypool.
Here is a report by James, a year 6 pupil:
On Friday, we went to see the torch pass through Pontypool.
During the morning, we took part in activities such as rugby, tennis, boxing, football, Tae Kwon Do, then netball and athletics.
Then we walked up to see the torch. First, we saw a police van and a coca cola van. We also saw the mascot, Wenlock. Ten minutes later, we saw the torch and everyone was shouting and screaming.
It was a lovely day, although it was a little too hot in the sun.
