Here are a few of the things year 6 will be taking part in during the next few weeks:
Ffrindiau ffeil:
This week, the pupils in the class are writing a piece for ‘Ffeil’ each day. ‘Ffeil’ is a Welsh news programme for children and each week, a different school is chosen to write about different events that are happening in the school.
Creative Writing Workshop:
On Wednesday, the 18th of May, Cyril Jones will be holding a creative writing workshop with the class. In the morning, we will be walking to the canal and other points of interest in the local area and when we return to school, the pupils will write about what they have seen.
Religious Education / ICT trip:
On Friday, the 20th of May, the pupils have been invited to Pontypool Church to learn about religious studies in the 21st century. This will show how different aspects of ICT have helped R.E in recent years.
