Non Uniform day:

Non Uniform day:

25th March 2011

We will be holding a non-uniform day on Friday, the 1st of April, to raise money for those affected by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

We ask you kindly to donate some money for this appeal on Friday.

Here is a poem written by Amy Taylor, a pupil in year 6:

Houses sinking,
Children screaming
Japan sinking so much,
Water covers,
We should help others,
No matter how tight they clutch.

They will be thrown,
And now unknown,
If you try to find their identity,
Buy a red nose,
For all of those,
who are in need of our money.

As the earth shakes,
From the earthquakes,
All the buildings fall down,
People get hit,
And fires get lit,
And that’s good bye to that town.

Washed up Japan,
Like oil in a pan,
Now absolutely everything is gone,
Water 20 feet high,
Water touching the blue sky,
I can’t believe how long this has gone on.

So, please if you have any spare money,
We are asking you kindly to spend it wisely.
