Arrangements for Monday the 11th of January:

We hope that we will be able to open as normal on Monday morning.

Please note that the front gate will be closed to all cars at 8.30am. Pedestrians are then to use the main entrance as the only access to the school. All pupils including Nursery pupils will enter the building using the side school building entrance.
Please note that the staff car park entrance and the small gate by the garden will be closed.

A path has been cleared from the front gate to the building. Please use this path because other areas of the school are still hazardous.

If there is any more snow over the weekend we will have to review the situation on Monday morning but we will be able to update you before 7.30am.

I would advise everyone to bring a packed lunch on Monday. I will be unable to confirm with Torfaen Catering until the morning if their service will be available as normal.

I have arranged for the school grounds to be cleared of snow during the day and a JCB will be on site in the afternoon to ensure that the playground and staff car park is clear of snow. Please be aware that the school site is still hazardous in places and by now our supply of grit is low.
